Drop camp hunts: outfitters and guides, coming soon
Drop camps give you the camp and transport without a guide. Compare what is provided, how you are picked up, and your responsibilities for field care.
No drop camp outfitters are listed yet
Sun Up Hunts is launching, and an outfitter or guide is listed only after a person confirms its license or permit with the agency that issues it. This page is kept out of search results until at least 3 vetted listings offer drop camp hunts. If you run drop camp hunts, you can ask to be listed.
What to compare on a drop camp hunt
- Which license or permit covers the outfitter, and can you confirm it with the issuing agency?
- Service level: guided, fully outfitted, semi-guided or drop camp, and what each includes in writing.
- Which land the hunt is on (private, public or both) and what covers the access.
- What the contract says about dates, group size, cancellation and refunds. No outfitter can guarantee a harvest.
