Hunting outfitters and guides by state
Every US state is listed with its official wildlife agency. States get their own comparison page once at least 2 outfitters are published there.
How state coverage works
Licensing facts below come only from official agency, statute or rule pages read on the date shown on each state page, with the source link beside each fact. Where we could not confirm a rule it says "not confirmed" and the wildlife agency is the authority: check the agency before booking a hunt or operating as a guide.
Licensing research: 18 states with a confirmed requirement, 6 where we found no state hunting-guide license on the pages we read, 4 where official pages show no public single-business license lookup, and 22 not confirmed (agency link only). This is research, not legal advice.

Frequently asked questions
Why are most states "coming soon"?
Sun Up Hunts is launching. A state page becomes a full comparison once it has at least 2 vetted, published listings; until then it is a coming-soon page that links to the official wildlife agency, which is the authority on licensing, seasons and draws, and is kept out of search results.
Where do the licensing facts come from?
Only from official or primary sources (statute text, licensing-board and wildlife-agency pages) read on the date shown beside each fact, with the source link. Where we could not confirm something, we say "not confirmed" and link to the agency instead of guessing.
Does this directory cover private land leases?
Only as information-only links: state pages with a hunting-leases section link to public lease search pages and state access programs, and we never arrange a lease or take money for one. The directory covers commercial outfitters and guides only.
