Frequently asked questions
What should I ask a small game and varmints outfitter before paying a deposit?
Whose land is it, and how many shooters share a town or field? What calibers and shooting setups are allowed? Are lodging and meals included? Then confirm the outfitter's license number with the agency that issued it.
How many outfitters are listed for small game and varmints hunting?
8 published listings. Counts change as listings are reviewed, added or removed. The most recent listing check was on October 24, 2026.
What kinds of service do these outfitters offer?
3 guided (a guide hunts with you) and 5 fully outfitted (guide, camp, meals and logistics). Definitions are on each listing, and the contract is what counts.
Does paying for placement change the order?
Upgraded placements are labelled "Sponsored" and may appear first. The upgrade does not change the license check. Listing is free. Outfitters can choose an upgraded listing, always labelled "Sponsored": free for life for the first 25 Founding outfitters, then a flat monthly or annual fee (see the listing tiers page). There is no per-lead fee, no per-booking fee and no revenue share, and payment never buys a license check or changes a listing's facts.
