Alligator · Louisiana
Alligator hunts run on state tags in a short season, so ask who holds the tags, which water you hunt and how the animal is checked and processed.
From LDWF - Seasons and Regulations, LDWF - 2026-2027 Hunting Regulations (PDF), read October 24, 2026. Seasons, units and quotas change every year; the agency's current regulations decide. See the Louisiana draw deadlines.
